During his visit, Rahul will meet the ex-servicemen, who will express their gratitude for the implementation fo one rank one pension scheme for army men in the country, Punjab Congress chief Partap Singh Bajwa said today.
Ex-servicemen from all districts of Punjab will attend the meet and share dinner with Rahul, he said.
Punjab was the biggest beneficiary of the one rank one pension scheme as the highest number of ex-servicemen live here, Bajwa said, adding that Rahul had taken personal interest in issue and persuaded UPA government to implement the scheme.
