"Gandhi reached AIIMS around 4.30 PM and inquired about the ongoing treatment of the five Kashmiri patients who were hit by pellets. He met the victims, four of whom are undergoing treatment at Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences while one of them is admitted in Trauma Centre.
"Gandhi was here at AIIMS for almost half an hour," said a senior doctor at the hospital.
The five Kashmiri patients, including a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, were admitted to AIIMS on July 23, due to the inefficient medical infrastructure at Jammu and Kashmir hospitals.
