Rai appointed member of two standing committees

Speaker of Sikkim Legislative Assembly KN Rai has been nominated member of the 'Standing Committee of the All India Presiding Officers Conference'.
He was nominated by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.
The committee consists of eight members and has
Mahajan as the Chairperson, a state government press release issued here said.
Rai has also been nominated as member of the 'Follow up Subcommittee of the Standing Committee of the India Presiding Officers Conference'.
Chairperson, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, Dr. A Chakrapani is the Convener of the Committee which consists of five members.
