Kalindee Rail Nirman shares plunged six per cent and those of Texmaco Rail & Engineering tanked 5.28 per cent on the BSE.
Besides, Simplex Castings stocks were down by 5.58 per cent and Stone India dipped 3.35 per cent, respectively.
On the other hand, shares of Kernex Microsystems jumped 4.18 per cent, Titagarh Wagons was up 3.22 per cent and BEML rose by 2.37 per cent, respectively.
Share prices of companies related to the rail sector have rallied quite sharply in recent weeks.
