Railways will provide Rs 10 cr fund to NID for the job. There will be a committee of four senior railway officials to monitor the project.
"NID, which has become a centre for excellence for its good work, is under Commerce and Industry Ministry. We will ensure that passenger get benefit out of this tie-up," said Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
The MoU will be for a period of 10 years, which can be further extended as mutually agreed.
