Railway engineer found dead

A railway engineer was today found dead and his body hanging from a tree near a college in Bihar's Rohtas district, a police officer said.
The local people detected a body hanging from a tree near SP College and informed the police, which arrived on the spot and identified it as that of Amar Singh, a Junior Engineer posted at Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) at Varanasi, Town police station in-charge Pawan Kumar said.
It was immediately not clear whether Singh committed suicide or was murdered and his body hanged from a tree by unidentified assailaints, he said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death of the railway engineer, Kumar said.
Singh hailed from Lerua village under Mufassil police station area of Rohtas district.
