Rajkumar Rao starrer "Shaadi Main Zaroor Aana" which hits the theatres tomorrow, has a song penned by a Gaurav Krishna Bansal, a 2000-batch IRTS officer.
Bansal, who is currently posted as Chief PRO with North Central Railways (NCR), Allahabad, is happy that the song has over 34.5 lakh hits on Youtube since its release.
"The song 'Thukra Ke Dil Mera Intekaam Dekhegi', I have written for Ratna Sinha's 'Shaadi Main Zaroor Aana', has seen over 34.5 lakh hits on Youtube after its release on October 30," Bansal told PTI.
"It's like becoming a 'Secret Superstar'. When I see people watching the song and appreciating it, I feel great. Little do they know that I have penned this song," he said.
Bansal also met the film's leads, Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda.
The officer met Ratna and Vinod at North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC), Allahabad, where the film was being shot and when he told them about his writings, he was offered to write a song for the film.
"I have participated in many 'kavi sammelans' with well-known poets like Surendra Sharma, Ashok Chakradhar and Gopal Das Neeraj. My wife always wanted that I should write for Bollywood but professional compulsions did not let me do so," he said.
"I enjoy my writing work and will continue do that. Hope more will come in the days ahead as I have little time to market myself," he added.
