Rain keeps Patna cool

Rains cooled the capital city Patna today while many other parts of Bihar are experiencing flood conditions.
Met office bulletin said that Patna recorded 45.6 mm of rainfall while its maximum temperature was 34.3 degree celsius. Purnea recorded 0.5 mm rainfall.
Maximum temperature in temple town of Gaya was 33.9 degress celsius while it was 36.4 degree celsius in Bhagalpur.
The state weather office forecast generally cloudy sky with possibility of light rain in Patna and Gaya districts for tomorrow.
Possibility of rain or thundershower has been forecast for Bhagalpur and Purnea as well.
Due to rain in the state and discharge of water from Nepal, many areas situated along the Indo-Nepal border are under flood.
