Rains in Rajasthan bring down mercury level

Light to moderate rains today occurred in Rajasthan, bringing down the mercury level in some parts of the state.
SriGanganagar at maximum 45.2 degree Celsius was the hottest place in the state.
Elsewhere Churu recorded 44 deg C, Jaisalmer 41.3 deg C and Jaipur 37 deg C.
Bakani recorded 7 cm rainfall, while Khanpur and Sangaria received 4 cm rainfall each.
