Raj Assembly pays tribute to departed leaders

Rajasthan Vidhansabha today paid rich tributes to the first woman Prime Minister of Britain Margaret Thatcher, former Bangladesh President Mohammad Zillur Rahman and other departed leaders.
Speaker Deependra Singh Shekhawat made the obituary reference on the first day of the monsoon session and recalled the services and contribution of the dignitaries who passed away.
The house also paid homage to former Governor of Goa and Karnataka Khursheed Alam Khan, former MPs K K Goyal, Dwarkaprasad Bairwa, R P Goyanka, former MLAs Dhanraj Meena, Ratan Lal Verma, and those killed in Uttarakhand disaster and Bihar rail tragedy.
