Raj: Couple found dead

A couple was today found dead at their rented accommodation in Deh village here, with police suspecting that the man killed his wife and later committed suicide.
They said the bodies of Debu Rai (28) and Pooja (25) have been handed over to their family members after postmortem.
It seems the man killed his wife with an axe and later hanged himself from the ceiling fan, police said.
A team reached the spot after the couple's neighbours informed the police that a stench was coming from their room, they said, adding the door was broken by policemen as it was locked from inside.

A cases has been lodged at the Kolayat Police Station and the matter is being investigated, police said.
