Raj govt forms Finance Commission for PRIs

Rajasthan Government has constituted the state Finance Commission to review the financial position of Panchayti Raj Institutions (PRIs) and to make recommendations for their improvement.
The commission, to be headed by Jyoti Kiran, will also make suggestions for measures needed to improve the financial position of the Panchayats.
It will submit a report by 30 November this year, said an official release.
Retired IAS officer S C Derashree will be the Member Secretary of the Commission. The Commission's Chairperson is a subject expert and a former spokesperson of BJP party's state unit.
