It was noticed by the villagers, some 28 Kms from here, who claimed that this was for the first time they were witnessing such a phenomenon.
TNEB was storing the water in the dam and release it to other dams, incuding Sinkara, where electricity was being generated.
The villagers said they had informed the local officials.
