Speaking at a function at Birla auditorium, state education minister Kalicharan Saraf said the government was considering setting up model schools from class 1 to 12 in Gram Panchayats in the state, so that quality education could be provided.
The minister further said that a survey was being conducted in all the schools to determine the status of facilities, infrastructure, number of students and teachers etc, so that required arrangements can be made for such schools.
Minister's appeal got instant response and some of the donors present in the function announced to adopt about 60 schools of the state.
Earlier, the minister felicitated 43 donors at a function in the auditorium for their contribution in the education sector.
