The new state highways will be constructed between Jaipur and Nagaur, and Pratapgarh and Dungarpur, the state transport minister Yunus Khan said.
He said that the Jaipur-Nagaur state highway No 90 will be 229 -km long and will pass through areas where economic activities like mining, salt production are dominating.
"This highway will link areas of stone quarry, crashers, salt production, tungsten mining besides Dadhimata temple with high quality road," he said in a statement.
"One of the important religious places 'Guru Fakruddin Shahid Sahib dargah' in Galiakot will be connected with the state highway.
"Large number of followers of Bohra community go to the dargah. The highway will improve connectivity and help in development of the tribal region," he said.
