In a meeting with VCs and officers of universities, the Governor asked them to take regular rounds of their campus, ensure regular attendance of students and also teaching staff in classes.
Decisions was also taken for placing a centralised system for evaluation of copies, police action against those living illegally in hostels, strict action against using unfair means during examinations.
He also asked the VCs to undertake a campaign for making campus free from anti-social elements, according to a Raj Bhawan release here.
