Raj Summit: Beggars sent to rehab centres in Jaipur

Twenty-seven beggars, including 6 minor girls and 10 boys, were today sent to rehabilitation centres here ahead of Rajasthan Resurgent Summit slated to be held on November 19, an official said.
To contain begging and child labour, 10 boys, six minor girls, two women and nine men were sent to Kishor Grah, Balika Grah, Mahila Sadan through respective police stations, the official of Jaipur district said here.
These beggars were engaged in state capital's VVIP roads, including Gaurav Tower, Rambagh Circle, Jawahar Circle, SMS Hospital, Kalwar Road.
The anti-begging campaign began on November 10 and will last till November 17, he added.
