"We have assured them to stay here comfortably without getting panicked," ADG (Intelligence) D S Dinkar told reporters here.

"We have started survey of these people and after that will take up the issue with the Intelligence of Haryana for the extension of their visa," Dinkar said.

About 324 migrants, who had been staying in Sirsa in Haryana for last 20 years, had shifted to Jodhpur two days ago seeking citizenship.

Expressing sympathy with these people, he added that these migrants are facing many problems on account of not having citizenship of India.
