Rajiv Kumar Gupta appointed anti-corruption officer in OIL

Senior bureaucrat Rajiv Kumar Gupta was today appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in Oil India Limited.
A CVO acts as distant arm of Central Vigilance Commission to check corruption.
Gupta, a 1988 batch officer of Indian Forest Service of union territories cadre, has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training said.
He has been appointed in place of IPS officer Anand Kumar.
