Ramesh said the President congratulated him for his gripping first-hand account of that momentous period of India's political and economic history.
Interestingly, the book not only discusses Mukherjee's role in the economic reforms programme implemented by P V Narasimha Rao and Dr Manmohan Singh during June-August 1991, but it also carries the detailed note prepared by him for a meeting of the Congress Working Committee held on February 19, 1991.
