The Redneck singer will fill in for Mike at 11 concerts between October 6 and 16, while he recovers from unspecified health problems.
In a statement released by Eyehategod, Randy expressed his delight at getting to perform with a band whose work he loves, reported Contactmusic.
"Anyone who knows me well knows I am a massive Eyehategod fan," he said.
"I've seen them play more times than I can remember. I wear their merch (andise) - I even have a freaking Eyehategod tattoo that I got in New Orleans. They are one of my favourite bands of all time."
