Puducherry Chief Minister N.Rangasamy today asked officials of Directorate of Civil Supplies and Education department here to create awareness among school children about the rights of consumers and remedial mechanism available in the statutes to redress grievances of consumers.
He was addressing delegates of various consumer welfare organisations and distributing prizes to school children adjudged to be proficient in various competitions on the occasion of National Consumers Day here.
Director of Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs L.Mohammad Mansoor also spoke.
