Rapper DMX has been sentenced to six months in jail for failing to pay child support.
The rapper had racked up USD 400,000 worth of unpaid child support, Billboard reported.
The 44-year-old singer, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was arrested by police last month moments before taking to the stage at the Radio City Music Hall in New York.
At the time police said he was taken in for not paying child support, as well as bail jumping and a Newark robbery complaint.
It is not the first time we've heard about DMX missing child support payments.
Back in 2012, ex-girlfriend Patricia Trejo accused DMX of owing USD 1 million worth of child support.
DMX rose to fame in the late '90s with hits like "Ruff Ryders Anthem" and "Get At Me Dog".
