Ravi Kota new Assam principal resident commissioner

Senior bureaucrat Ravi Kota has assumed the office of the principal resident commissioner at Assam Bhawan here.
An IAS officer of 1993 batch, Kota is presently the principal secretary to the Finance department, an official release said.
Assuming charge on Monday, he urged the officials and employees of the Assam Bhawan to work towards projecting the state in proper perspective in the national capital, the release added.
