Uttrakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat held an informal meeting with his party MLAs and PDF legislators this evening after the state High Court quashed the President's rule and restored his dismissed government.
Rawat's media in-charge Surendra Kumar, however, said he hasn't formally taken over the post of Chief Minister.
He said the High Court restored has his government and as such, there is no need for him to "formally" take charge.
Earlier, Rawat, his cabinet ministers and state Congress chief Kisore Upadhyay met Governor K K Paul at Raj Bhavan here.
