"The Survey seeks qualitative responses on questions pertaining to economic conditions, income, spending, perceptions on prices, employment prospects, etc. The results of this Survey provide useful information for policy formulation," RBI said.
The study aims at capturing subjective assessments of around 5,400 respondents across six metropolitan cities -- Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi.
Sigma Research & Consulting has been engaged to conduct the field work of the survey on behalf of RBI.
For this purpose, RBI said, the respondents will be approached by the agency and the selected respondents are requested to provide the required information.
