Chief Electoral Officer Narinder Chauhan said, polling at Shalkhar polling station was adjourned due to disturbance of peace yesterday and the Election Commission has ordered re-polling in this booth tomorrow.
Election in 117 booths of Kinnaur Assembly segment was peaceful and 53.26 per cent polling was registered.
A new Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) would be provided for polling and counting of votes would done on June 30, Chauhan said.
Meanwhile EVMs in Kinnaur district have been airlifted to the district headquarter at Reckong Peo and kept under tight security.
