Realty firm directors booked for not delivering flats in time

Haryana police today registered a case against four directors of a Gurgaon-based real estate firm for allegedly not giving possession of flats to customers in time.
The company had collected "huge sum" of money from the customers promising them flats. However, inquiries revealed construction work was yet to commence, a police official said.
One of the accused lives in Gurgaon while the rests are Delhi residents.
The Gurgaon District Town Planner Enforcement made a written complaint to the police against the directors of the company contending they had violated the rules of the projects for which they had secured licences, he added.
All the accused are still at large, the official said, adding, efforts were on to nab the accused.
