The biopic, directed by Krishan Hooda, shows the story of a young boy, Raja, living in a remote village of central India with his maternal grandmother and grandfather.
As Raja grows up his underlying questions about meaning of life makes him stumble upon three mysterious mentors which eventually changes his perception about enquiry into eternal mystery of existence.
"Indian audiences never got to see the journey of one of the most important spiritual figures of our times- Osho Rajneesh on celluloid... We are sure the audience will connect with this universally inspiring story," Hooda said in a statement.
"We hope that the film will truly inspire its viewers to explore something beyond from the happiness and pain of the mundane world," Bharti said.
"Rebellious Flower", backed by the Osho Foundation, Pune, won "Special Mention Jury Award" at Salento International Film Festival held in Tricase, Italy 2015.
It stars Prince Shah, Shashank Shekhar and Mantra Mugdh.
