Amar Arshi had sung the old song but Badshah, who has composed the new version, has included fresh beats, rap by Bakshi and Neha Kakkar's vocals.
"It was totally a new song for me and really difficult because the track we have taken was produced in 2000 and it was a huge success so we had to recreate all the music similar to the old one which was even more challenging," the singer told PTI.
Shedding more light on the party number, the singer said, "I have not done any kind of hard core rapping in the song. It's a slow rap and the kind of singing which is easy to understand. I'm not making something which people need to try and try."
When asked if the musicians get it easy by reinventing old hits, Bakshi said, "The benefit is that people already know those songs so we don't need to put it in their mind. It is easy for them to understand these new changes in the music. It's like you have a hit-hook which people already know."
"This whole trend was started by Honey Singh. He has opened the door for all individual artistes by giving some major hits in the industry. It's really helping us because people are recognising who is Indeep Bakshi and also working for Dharma is almost every artists' dream."
The singer believes these days international and R&B music is in trend as new generation directly connects to it.
Indeep will next be singing in Devang Dholakia's upcoming action erotic thriller "Tina Lolo". It stars Karishma Tanna, Sunny Leone and Deepak Tijori.
