Redress grievances of rural people on priority basis: Minister

Haryana Public Health Engineering Minister Rao Narbir Singh today directed officers to redress the grievances of rural people on priority basis.
In case, any grievance cannot be redressed, they should make the villagers understand and satisfy them why it could not be done.
Rao Narbir Singh was speaking at a programme organised in the office of Block Development Panchayat Officer at Farrukhnagar, Gurgaon, today, said an official release.
It is a matter of concern that the problems of people remain unsolved due to small formalities. The officers should guide the rural people on how to complete these formalities and focus more on redressal of their grievances, he said.

The minister said that he would visit the villagers at least once in a month and make efforts to solve their problems and provide them facilities.
He assured people that their grievances would be redressed at the earliest.
The state government believes in working, not in making announcements, he said.
