While, groundnutoil held steady in the absence of any major buying activity.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil recovered slightly owing to renewed offtake from shippers and soap industries.
In the futures market, castorseeds September witnessed no trading.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein fell by Rs 8 per 10 kg to Rs 592 from Friday's closing level of Rs 600. Groundnutoil were unaltered at Rs 850 per 10 kg.
Turning to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold moved up by Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 3,650 from Rs 3,640 and castor oil commercial also added by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 760 from Rs 758. Linseeds oil closed unchanged at Rs 760 per 10 kg.
