In the edible section, refined palmolein moved down by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 490 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 492. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,260 per 10kg.

Moving to futures,castorseed December contract resumed slightly higher at Rs 3,550 and moved in a range of Rs 3,570 and Rs 3,530 before closing at Rs 3,540 as compared to Rs 3,545 yesterday, showing a mere loss of Rs 5 per tonne.

Turning to non-edible segment,Castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil prices all closed unaltered at Rs 3,475 per 100kg, Rs 725 per 10 kg and Rs 820 per 10 kg, respectively.
