Refined soya oil futures extend gain on spot demand, up 0.23%

Rising for the third-day, refined soya oil prices were up by 0.23 per cent to Rs 619.50 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators widened their positions on upsurge in demand in the spot market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in February month inched up by Rs 1.45, or 0.23 per cent to Rs 619.50 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,810 lots.
Analysts said participants enlarged positions on the back of strong demand in the spot market against restricted supplies
from producing regions mainly kept refined soya oil prices higher at futures trade.
