Relationship between India & Egypt has got a new momentum: Sanjay Bhattacharyya

The bilateral relationship between India and Egypt has got a new momentum and both countries will see cooperation in various fields including political, economic and security cooperation, the Indian envoy here has said.
India's Ambassador to Egypt Sanjay Bhattacharyya, addressing a gathering at a hotel here on Tuesday, on the occasion of India's 67th Republic Day said: "Prime Minister Modi and President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi have met twice last year and the Minister of External Affairs and Overseas Indian Affairs Sushma Swaraj made a very significant visit to Egypt. So our partnership now has a new momentum."
Bhattacharyya said both countries are working on enhancing economic engagement, scientific collaboration, deeper cultural cooperation and people-to-people contacts.
An exhibition by children was organised in the name "Glimpse of India" as part of the event.
A kalbeliya performance by a Rajasthani folk dance troupe was also held.
