The western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto 4.5 kms a.S.L. Over north Pakistann and neighbourhood persists. System would move eastnortheastwards. The trough of low at mean sea level from Lakshadweep- Maldives areas to northh Maharashtra coast now extends from Lakshadweep area and adjoining southeast Arabian sea to south Rajasthan. The induced cyclonic circulation which formed over central Pakistan and adjoining west Rajasthan yesterday evening now lies over south Rajasthan and neighbourhood embedded on the above trough and extends upto 3.1 kms a.S.L. A trough in mid and upper tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 kms a.S.L. Runs roughly alond Long.65 degree East to North of Lat.18 degree. Above two systems would move eastnortheastwards. The cyclonic circulation over Assam and Meghalaya and neighbourhood has become less marked.(MORE)
