Senior CPI(M) leader Suryakanta Mishra who is the Leader of the Opposition also visited the SI's residence. Mishra expressed concern at the daylight shooting and alleged that it was a glaring instance of worsening law and order in the state. Meanwhile, Chief Secretary Sanjay Mitra held a meeting with the Commissioner of Police R K Pachnanda at the Writers' Buildings.
