Aditi, who will be competing with 108 participants from across the globe in a finale scheduled to take place on December, 19, 2015 in Hainan Island, Sanya, China, has not nervous as she considers it a "prestigious" moment.
"I am not at all nervous. I have worked on every possible aspect and now I am just waiting for the big day and give my best performance. I don't want nervousness to come in between and enjoy the fun part of it. For me India means a lot and being the identity of India is a prestigious thing," Aditi told PTI in an interview.
She was persuaded by her mother to participate in Miss India contest.
"During my growing up days I never thought of beauty pageants as a medium to represent my country. But, as I grew up and thanks to my mom I realised that beauty pageant is also a powerful way.
"When I went through the profiles of previous winners I realised beauty pageant is great way to work for society and that excited me. Now I just want to be one of the best delegates and not let India down," she said.
"For me, it is very important to be soft spoken and friendly as we meet so many people during our preparations, contest and then while travelling across the globe, we should be gentle with people only then we can connect with them."
Apart from working on looks and panache, Aditi is involved with child development sector and the project she is taking forward is to do with knowledge and equality and will be working in the rural areas of places like Haryana.
"For most of my journey till now I haven't thought about Bollywood. Mostly my focus has been representing India. However, when we are in a field like this many offers come. And it would be disrespectful if one just says no to them.
"I think one should be open to whatever comes their way. I am not incredibly keen to make my career in Bollywood, but I am open to opportunities. And I will prioritise things accordingly," she said.
While representing India Aditi, who was crowned fbb Femina Miss India World 2015, will be seen donning beautiful dresses curated by her fashion director Rocky S.
Her wardrobe will include designs by Ritu Kumar, Gauri amd Nainika, Shantanu & Nikhil.
Designers Falguni and Shane Peacock have created the finale outfit for her.
