According to a complaint lodged by the victim's father, the accused Ramesh, a retired Army personnel lured the 9-year-old boy to his house yesterday and sodomised him, they said.
The incident came to light when the condition of the boy deteriorated, police said.
A case has been lodged against Ramesh under relevant section of IPC and POCSO Act after the medical examination of the victim, they said, adding investigation is underway and search is on to nab the accused.
