Revamped govt veterinary hospital draws scores of visitors

A government veterinary hospital here is wowing animal lovers with a tub for spa bath, sonography, X-ray, and dental care facilities for pets.
"Love Your Pet Day" was today observed at the Government Veterinary Hospital at Sadar Manzil, and the visitors were visibly happy with the transformation.
"I could not believe my eyes when I entered this hospital, that it is the same place where I served as a veterinarian in 1972," retired Joint Director of Madhya Pradesh Veterinary department, Dr I N Nigam, who was the chief guest, told reporters.
"Like any private modern hospital for human beings, this hospital has all facilities for animals, such as tub for spa bath, sonography, X-ray, dental care, all types of blood test facilities, floors and walls neatly tiled, ultra modern operation theatre, physiotherapy and others, which are unthinkable in the government sector," Nigam said.

"The entire credit for transforming this place into a modern veterinary hospital goes to In-charge surgeon Dr Anil Sharma and his team, who ran from pillar to post to get funds sanctioned from the government for the purpose."
Pet owners visited the hospital in order to get the animals properly examined and vaccinated.
