RHB to build 15000 houses in all categories

Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) has announced to build 15,000 new houses in all categories for various income groups in the current fiscal year.
Houses for weaker section of society, LIG, MIG, and HIG would be built in all districts of the state, holding an annual review meeting of the board, its chairman Parasram Mordiya said yesterday.
Mordiya directed the officers of circle and block to identify land and make a plan at the earliest so that a new registration scheme be launched in the selected district, an official source said.
The said planning came up for adoption as per the state's annual budget of 2013-14, the Chairman said.
In another development, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved an additional budget of Rs 100 crore under Urban-BPL (below poverty line) yojna and for which Rajasthan Housing Development and Infrastructure Limited will be a nodal agency, the source said.
Under this scheme, Rs 70,000 is given for housing, and Rs 5000 for toilet to BPL member in urban cities.
