Rhino horn recovered, four arrested

A rhino horn was recovered at a place under the limits of Jagiroad police station in Assam's Morigaon district and four arrested in this connection, the police today said.
Acting on a tip off, the police last night conducted a raid at Belguri village and recovered the rhino horn, they said.
Four persons identified as Deba Saikia, Babul Baruah, Ajoy Saikia and Gopal Das were arrested in connection with the recovery, the police said adding, some poachers had handed over the horn to the accused persons near Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary here to sell it off.
