Seven new cases of patients suffering from H1N1 virus were reported, taking the total number of those infected by the disease to 69 in the state capital while three persons have died so far.
Yadav asked officials to ensure free and prompt treatment to such patients in SGPGI, KGMU and other medical colleges of the state. "Any negligence will not be tolerated," he said, according to a state government spokesman.
He also directed that availability of medicines should be ensured in government hospitals. "Teams of doctors should be sent to places where cases of swine flu have been detected," he said.
Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) SNS Yadav said the new patients have been been admitted to different hospitals here.
"A total of 69 swine flu patients have been found in Lucknow so far. They are being treated in different hospitals of the city", he said.
