"The RJD supremo, who generally turns away people from his doorstep, took out two hours from his schedule for meeting Raj Ballabh Yadav. It clearly proves that the tainted RJD MLA's release was fixed as the state counsel did not oppose the bail petition with vigour," he said in a statement.
Modi had earlier alleged that that the Nitish Kumar administration helped RJD strongman and ex-MP Mohammad Shahabuddin in getting bail from High Court in a murder case.
There were several lacaune in the prosecution's side that clinched bail for Raj Ballabh Yadav, he said.
Yadav was charged with raping a minor girl at his Biharsharif residence in February. He was granted bail on September 30 by Patna High Court.
