"The BJP is playing with sentiments of farmers by not giving due recognition to their undisputed leader Chaudhary Charan Singh. We demand Bharat Ratna for him and declaration of 12 Tuglak Road residence (in New Delhi) as his memorial", state party president Munna Singh Chauhan told reporters here.
He further alleged that the Union government was not celebrating his birthday on December 23 as it used to do in the past at Kisan Ghat (the place where Singh was creamated) in New Delhi.
