The Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP), an ally of the BJP, has said it will contest the upcoming civic polls in the national capital.
Addressing a function to mark the party's 4th Foundation Day, RLSP chief and Union minister Upendra Kushwaha said, "We will fight the municipal elections in Delhi."
The Bihar-based RLSP has three MPs in the Lok Sabha and is a coalition partner in the NDA government.
The three municipal bodies -- East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation -- having a total of 272 wards, are expected to go to polls in April.
Meanwhile, Kushwaha claimed his party withdrew from fighting the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls on the intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
