Kaushik claimed that incumbent N Ramachandran and Harish Sharma had filed their nominations for treasurer's post after November 16 deadline but returning officer Justice (retd) V K Bali included their names among the four validly nominated candidates after scrutiny.
"It is well settled principle of election laws that all nominations received by the returning officer after the last date of receipt of nominations, would be rejected," Kaushik, who is the sercretary of Netball Federation of India (NFI) said in a letter to Justice Bali.
"But it is unfortunate that you once again violated the elections guidelines and well settled election laws and accepted the nominations of Shri N Ramchandran and Shri Harish Kumar, which was received by you after the last date of nominations," he said.
Kaushik urged Justice Bali to reject the nomination papers of Ramchandran and Harish Kumar, saying accepting their nominations would amount to violation of rule of free and fair elections.
All India Tennis Association president Anil Khanna is also in the race for the treasurer's post.
The controversy-marred IOA elections will be held on December 5.
