Road rage: Mediaperson beaten up, his motorbike damaged

In an incident of road rage in west Delhi's Kirti Nagar area, a mediaperson was today allegedly thrashed and his motorcycle damaged by a car driver.
Brij Bhatt, 31, who works with a news channel, was going to office when his bike was allegedly hit by a speeding car at a crossing in Kriti Nagar on the road towards Mayapuri, at around 1.30 pm, police said.
Bhatt alleged the car driver, a man aged around 27 years, did not stop after hitting his motorbike and ran over it while he fell on the road and his helmet fell off.
The car driver came out of his vehicle when Bhatt upbraided him for his driving and allegedly hit him on head with the helmet.
Police said a complaint has been filed by the victim and efforts are being made to access CCTV footage near the site to identify the accused.
Complainant was taken to a hospital by the police.
