Badrinath national highway reopened to traffic after a three-day disruption caused by a stretch of road being washed away by rain.
The NH leading to the Himalayan shrine was reopened to traffic late last night, a BRO official told reporters today.
Traffic along the route came to a halt on Saturday evening when an over 30-metre stretch of the road was washed away by rain, he said.
Vehicles stranded in Badrinath since Saturday have started for Joshimath after the reopening of the route, the official said.
