Robbers' gang busted; two arrested

Police today claimed to have busted a gang of robbers, involved in several thefts in Delhi-NCR region, with the arrest of two persons.
A team of police acting on a tip-off laid a trap in Kothwali area and arrested Dilip and Ram late last night, they said, adding Rs 1.25 lakh was recovered from their possession.
Police said that the duo was involved in a shop loot executed on January 31 in Ghant Ghar area. They made away with Rs 1.52 lakh from the shop.
"The duo has confessed to their involvement in the robbery case," a senior police officer said.

Police are interrogating the accused about their accomplices to get some leads on their hideouts. They were active in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad, the officer added.
